Parallel Programme

Cinema South Film Festival (Israel) recommends:

Cyprus Film Days in collaboration with the Cinema South Film Festival of Israel and the Israel Cinema Project of the Rabinovich Foundation for the Arts present the Israeli films All eyes off me (Hadas Ben Aroya) and Africa (Oren Gerner) as a continuation of their efforts to establish a closer rapport between the creative audiovisual sectors of Israel and Cyprus. The partnership between Cyprus Film Days and Cinema South Film Festival began with the ‘Focus on Cypriot Cinema’ section and the ‘Get to know the Neighbors’ panel featured at last year’s Cinema South edition, where an official delegation from Cyprus had the opportunity to provide an overview of the development of the creative audiovisual sector in Cyprus.

The following Cypriot films were selected and screened as part of the focus on Cypriot Cinema:
Pause (Tonia Mishiali)
Senior Citizen (Marinos Kartikkis)
Smuggling Hendrix (Marios Piperides)
Siege on Liperti Street (Stavros Pamballis)
