Dot.on.the.Map is growing and becoming a connecting force between us; producers, directors, scriptwriters, distributors, sales agents, festival workers, film educators. We thank you all for your presence, and we especially thank the participating teams for sharing their projects in our newly established co-production and networking forum. Our focus remains to encourage co-productions and cross-border collaboration, fostering film education while putting Mediterranean talent in the spotlight.
This year, we have selected seven feature fiction film projects, most of which will be presented for the first time in an international co-production market. We hope you will find them fascinating and decide to book your meetings with them to explore potential collaborations and synergies. Our projects this year come from Italy, Greece, Egypt, Israel, Albania and Cyprus.
On behalf of the organisers, the artistic committee of Cyprus Film Days and everyone involved in this year’s Dot.on.the.Map Industry Days, I would like to warmly thank our partners at Agora – Thessaloniki International Film Festival, Greece and Initiative Film, France for offering their invaluable expertise and immense support. A heartful thanks goes to the Organisation for European Programmes & Cultural Relations and the Creative Europe Desk Cyprus for supporting the event. We are truly thankful to all our partners, and especially the Directors Guild of Cyprus, the Mediterranean Film Institute, and the Rabinovich Foundation for their support. Big thanks to our main award sponsor, Movies & Stories Film Equipment Rental, for their generous contribution.
Enjoy your meetings, enjoy the pitching and cinema talks, at this year’s first on-site edition!
