Glocal Images International Competition Section seeks to attract films highlighting stories specific to their country of origin, which at the same time reflect quality synergies between smaller film producing countries. The Artistic Directors select international and national films mostly originating from the neighbouring continents of Cyprus, which promote cinema as an art form and a tool for intercultural dialogue.

GLOCAL IMAGES AWARDS
Best Film Award: accompanied by the amount of €6,000, paid in half (ex aequo) to the Producer (€3,000) and the Director (€3,000) of the film.
Special Jury Award: accompanied by the amount of €3,000, paid in half (ex aequo) to the Producer (€1,500) and the Director (€1,500) of the film.
Best Director Award: accompanied by the amount of €1,000.
Best Cinematography Award: accompanied by the amount of €1000, sponsored by Caretta Films.
CYPRIOT FILMS COMPETITION
Best Cypriot Film Award: accompanied by the amount of €4,000, which is paid in half (ex aequo) to the Producer (€2,000) and the Director (€2,000) of the film. Ιn addition, services for the provision of The Studio sponsored by the CYENS Centre of Excellence.
Best Director Award: accompanied by Post Production Cinema and Platform Mastering Services in the amount of €7000, sponsored by AUTHORWAVE.
Best Performance Award: accompanied by the amount of €2,000, sponsored by Limassol Municipality.
Audience Award: accompanied by the amount of €2,000, sponsored by Breaking Wave Productions.
