Xavier Henry-Rashid is the founder of Film Republic, a London based film sales agency specialising in world cinema and feature documentaries. Amongst its lineup, Film Republic includes the works of directors including Pirjo Honkasalo, and the Oscar entries by Peter Bebjak and Adrian Saba. Xavier previously worked as a freelancer journalist and photographer, and in various festival roles including at Sundance London, Raindance Film Festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest and the East End Film Festival.



Fabian is an alumni of Filmuniversität Babelsberg, Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris, and ACE. He entered the international co-production arena with DETAiLFILM, co-producing numerous award-winning films that played at festivals worldwide and sold all around the globe, including PERSONAL SHOPPER – which won Olivier Assayas Best Director in Cannes –, L’AVENIR – which won Mia Hansen-Løve a Silver Bear as Best Director in Berlinale competition –, and Léos Carax' ANNETTE, which opened Cannes 2021 in Official Competition.
To further strengthen his reach throughout Europe, he started a joint-venture with Lars von Trier’s Zentropa in 2015 before initiating artist-led production house Seven Elephants in 2018 with whom he produced Germanys 2020 OSCAR entry AND TOMORROW THE ENTIRE WORLD directed by Julia von Heinz. Fabian serves as vice president of the Franco-German film academy and board member of Berlin's film-school dffb. He teaches regularly at film schools and is a frequent guest speaker at international panels.

Dominique Welinski


In 2012, after more than 20 years in distribution, Dominique Welinski founded DW, a production and consulting company. Since then, she curates and produces the Factory program which did open Director’s Fortnight in Cannes, but is currently on hold, due to the pandemic. She’s a consultant and pitch trainer for various workshops and labs. During the pandemic, she did set up an online editing consulting company, Cut To the Chase, together with Nadia Ben Rachid, editor, and Amine Bouhafa, musician. She did produce or co-produce among others: Sanjeewa Pushpakumara Burning Birds and Peacock Lament (Sri Lanka), Alireza Khatami’s Oblivion Verses (Iran), Midi Z Road to Mandalay (Myanmar), John Tengrove The Wound (South Africa), Suba Sivakumaran House of my Fathers (Sri Lanka), Yona Rozenkier The Dive and Decompression (Israel) and The Day After by Kamar Ahmad Simon (Bangladesh). DW is developing films in Israel, India, Kenya and Bhutan.
