A masterclass with Berlin-based Choreographer & Movement Director Marie Scherzer

This masterclass with Berlin-based Choreographer and Movement Director Marie Scherzer will explore various aspects of storytelling through body language and physical movement in film. Drawing from the broad spectrum of Scherzer’s work, the masterclass will feature a presentation on viral dance scenes in film, followed by a session on practical movement techniques. The masterclass will end with a panel discussing her career, including issues such as casting dancers and performers, building classical choreographies and dance scenes, as well as creating authentic underground / club scenes for film. Moderated by: Argyro Nicolaou. The masterclass will be held in English. Open to actors, dancers, choreographers, performers and anyone with an interest in movement for film. Limited capacity.
