Αυλαία για το Cyprus Film Days 2026 με μια μεγάλη γιορτή του κινηματογράφου

With a ceremony highlighting the festival’s creative energy and international reach, the 24th Cyprus Film Days International Festival 2026 concluded on Saturday evening at the Rialto Theatre in Limassol. After nine days filled with screenings, workshops, filmmaker meetings and professional activities, the festival closed with the presentation of awards in its competitive sections, accompanied by reflections on the importance of cinematic creation, collaboration and the continuous evolution of the film community. The closing ceremony took place in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Culture and the Mayor of Limassol, while the artistic direction of the ceremony was undertaken by Evita Ioannou. The evening was hosted by Elena Antoniou, guiding the audience through a celebration honouring the filmmakers and stories that shaped this year’s edition. Αθρόα συμμετοχή και μεγάλος ενθουσιασμός στην τελετή βράβευσης του Παγκύπριου Διαγωνισμού Ταινίας Μικρού Μήκους

Με μεγάλη επιτυχία και τη θερμή παρουσία συμμετεχόντων, εκπαιδευτικών, γονέων και φίλων του κινηματογράφου πραγματοποιήθηκε την Κυριακή 19 Απριλίου στον κινηματογράφο K Cineplex Prime στον Στρόβολο η Τελετή Βράβευσης του 3ου Παγκύπριου Διαγωνισμού Ταινίας Μικρού Μήκους για Παιδιά και Νεαρά Άτομα, στο πλαίσιο του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Κινηματογραφικές Μέρες – Κύπρος 2026. Η αίθουσα γέμισε ασφυκτικά, με νέους δημιουργούς από ολόκληρη την Κύπρο να δίνουν το «παρών» σε μια γιορτή της κινηματογραφικής δημιουργίας, όπου προβλήθηκαν οι βραβευμένες ταινίες και αναδείχθηκε το υψηλό επίπεδο των φετινών συμμετοχών. Ο διαγωνισμός, που έχει πλέον καθιερωθεί ως ένας ζωντανός θεσμός κινηματογραφικής έκφρασης για τη νέα γενιά, ανέδειξε για ακόμη μία χρονιά τη δημιουργικότητα, τη φαντασία και την ανάγκη των παιδιών και των νέων να αφηγηθούν τις δικές τους ιστορίες μέσα από την εικόνα.
