Who is Who:

I’m a journalist… in “Liberal” since 2007. I worked at “Haravgi” from 2001 to 2006.

I’m working on it… culture-exclusively-for the last 11 years. When I got into art, I never looked back.

I remember the first Festival “Film Days-Cyprus 2006″… the screenings of which in Nicosia had been made in the basement of the late Opera cinema. Then it was January, not April. From my program comes to mind the film “Tsiou” by Makis Papadimitratos: one of the most fun scenarios I have answered in Greek comedy.

The importance of the festival … it is invaluable for the cultural events of Cyprus, especially as regards cinema and cinema education.

From this year’s event I intend to see … as many movies as my professional and family responsibilities allow. Every movie I don’t get to watch, I consider it a “missed opportunity”.

I never waited … that someone named Peggy would never ask me for an interview. However, life is full of twists and surprises. Like… the movies.

I remember features … in the event of 2011 the screening of the film “Honey” by Semich Kaplanoglou, which I rank unquestionably first in the informal list with my own favorites. Viewing-experience, one that in two hours can change you as a person.

I hope that sometime … we will see more prominent guests, most impressive cinematic surprises, richer parallel events, to ευρυνθεί and the international scope of the event.

I’d like to watch… queues outside the halls and listen to passionate conversations-recriminations after each screening.
